RELATO DA GUERRA: Rússia já duplica poder com mais 34 jatos de combate e de bombardeio.
About 500 ISIS fuel tanker vehicles transporting illegal oil from Syria to Iraq for processing have been destroyed by the Russia’s Air Forces, Russian General Staff spokesman Colonel General Andrey Kartapolov said. This week, Russia has dramatically increased its military operations in Syria. Russia is using long-range aviation bombers – Tu-22M3, Tu-95MC and Tu-160 – to target terrorist positions. Also, on Tuesday, the Russian cruiser Moskva fired a number of cruise missiles from the Mediterranean Sea and the militants’ positions at the ISIS Syrian capital, Raqqa. This was just the start. Russian army Gen. Valery Gerasimov has announced that Russia is allocating 25 strategic bombers for the Syrian mission. Separately, Russian Air Forces will be strengthened with advanced 37 aircraft, including eight Su-34 bomber jets and four Su-27 fighter jets. Thus, Moscow is more than doubling the strike potential of the Russian Air Force in the region.

Moreover, the Russian Armed Forces will organize joint military operations with the French Navy to combat terrorists in Syria. According to chief of the main operations directorate of Russian army’s General Staff Andrey Kartapolov, it becomes possible with the arrival of the Charles de Gaulle warship to the Syrian shore. The sides are working on a draft plan for joint action on the sea and in the air. France has also ramped up their air campaign against ISIS over the past days. Francois Hollande will meet Putin in Moscow on Nov. 26. A public idea of the event is to discuss how the countries’ militaries might work together. The joint fight against ISIS may cause Russia and the West, as a first step France, to collaborate more closely in Syria. There are still limits to that cooperation because too many sides have different interests in the region. But it will become a step on the way to find a diplomatic solution of the crisis.

But with the recent developments in Syria, the Russians working to establish a stronger presence in the region, it is likely that the era of the IAF crossing borders as if merely walking over a sidewalk is nearly over. The Russian navy's Black Sea flagship, the guided missile cruiser Moscow — or Moskva "glory"— left from Sevastopol in Crimea September 24, according to Russian state-controlled media. It is currently located to the west of Latakia, in western Syria. By positioning the Moskva, a cruiser armed with S300 missiles, west of Latakia, the Russians have endangered the IAF's favorite corridor of flight into Syria. The IAF has no stealth capabilities to circumvent this anti-access/area denial — A2/AD — bubble, nor any other air force in the area. Russian President Vladimir Putin managed to do in several days what US President Barack Obama failed to do in the last three years: He's created a true no-fly zone. Putin's actions suggest, in my opinion, that he's willing to force the coalition and the Israel air force into reporting and coordinating their flights in the region — an act I’m sure no one is in favor of or willing to comply with. The Moskva carries an estimated 64 S-300 missiles, according to foreign sources), and could intercept multiple targets up to 150 miles away, making it a serious threat in addition to other Russian assets in the region. The presence of the Moskva essentially locks down British air assets in Cyprus, American F-16s in the southern part of Turkey, and the Israeli air force, which likes to use that particular flight corridor for penetration into Syria, or alternatively when flying over the western part of Lebanon. Any flights in or around the country will now be tricky for the IAF to accomplish.
Currently, there's a great deal of disinformation and propaganda on the web pertaining to Russian activities in the region and their ostensibly benevolent operations to rid the region of the likes of ISIS. A lot of false information is circulating and PSYOPS are in full effect. But one may not ignore reality. Russian activities on the diplomatic field suggest that the Russians have intentionally established their own no-fly zones, creating A2/AD bubbles in Syria through which no aircraft, unless stealth-capable, can travel. The Russian navy has reestablished its old Cold War base, Tartus, on the western coast of Syria. That, along with a Russian airbase in northwestern Syria, ensures that Russia can maintain steady supply routes into Syria to support its military actions. Considering this and the sophisticated air-defense capabilities the Russians have already deployed in Syria, perhaps the entire operation is about more than merely buoying Syrian President Bashar Assad's regime in the short term. As the saying goes, "Russia is not just a country, it's a mentality."
Segue segunda fase de operações.
The Russian Defense Minister General Sergey Shoigu reported to the Supreme Commander about the results of the Air Force operation in Syria. The armed Forces carry out air operation of retribution aimed at destruction of leaders of terrorist organizations and their supporters, the of their disruption of control systems and logistics, as well as the destruction of military facilities and oil and gas infrastructure of ISIL. To this end, the composition of the aviation group has been increased twice and brought to 69 airplanes. 143 sorties are being conducted daily. The Naval group consists of 10 ships, 6 of them are in the Mediterranean Sea. On November 20, the ships of the Caspian flotilla completed 18 launches of cruise missiles at 7 targets in provinces of Raqqa, Idlib and Aleppo. All targets have been destroyed. In total, during air operations strategic and operational-tactical aircraft carried out 522 sorties, 101 air-and sea-based were launched, 1400 tons of bombs were dropped for various purposes. In total 826 enemy targets were destroyed.

. he main efforts are concentrated on undermining the financial-economic base of ISIS. 15 storage and oil refining facilities and 525 auto-tankers were destroyed. Supply to the black market of 60,000 tons of oil per day has been interrupted, and the terrorists missed 1.5 million dollars daily. At the same time the elimination of the gangs and their leaders is continuing. 23 training bases for the militants, 19 factories for the production of weapons and explosives, 47 warehouses with ammunition and material resources, as well as other objects have destroyed. This ensures successful operations by Syrian government forces in Aleppo, Idlib, mountain Latakia and Palmyra. According to the data of objective control, the number of people coming to the territory of Syria has been reduced and the flow of militants fleeing the country has been increased in Northern and South-Western directions. Gangs are suffering significant losses. As a result of cruise missile strikes on one of the targets near Deir-ez-Zor more than 600 militants have been eliminated. In General, during operation air strikes and cruise missiles strikes were carried out from the waters of the Mediterranean and Caspian seas from a distance of 1500 kilometers, the aircraft took off from airbaes on the territory of Russia and Syria. From the Caspian Sea side 29 long-range aircraft carried out air and cruise missile strikes. The flight range of Tu-160 during the completion of combat objectives in the Mediterranean Sea amounted to more than 13 000 kilometers. According to the directions of the Supreme Commander the organising of interaction with the armed forces of France has begun. All objectives are completed. The armed Forces have moved to the next phase of the operation.
