Having thus enforced a cordon sanitaire on Russia's western and much of its southern frontier, it was inevitable that the U.S. and its allies would next move to encircle, quarantine and ultimately confront China. In the past decade the Pentagon has begun conducting annual multinational military exercises in countries bordering China (Khaan Quest in Mongolia, Steppe Eagle in Kazakhstan) and near it (Angkor Sentinel in Cambodia), has with its NATO allies waged war and moved into bases in nations bordering China - Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan and Tajikistan - as well as nearby Uzbekistan, and, even before the official announcement of the strategic shift to the Asia-Pacific region, acquired the use of new military facilities in Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Australia, Singapore and the Philippines. 

President Obama's current visit to Cambodia, Myanmar and Thailand and Defense Secretary Leon Panetta's simultaneous trip to Australia, Cambodia and Thailand are exemplary of this trend. Early this year NATO announced the launching of its latest, and first non-geographically specific, partnership program, Partners Across the Globe, which began with the incorporation of eight Asia-Pacific nations: Afghanistan, Australia, Iraq, Japan, Mongolia, New Zealand, Pakistan and South Korea.

The law can be stated: With Gold goes the geopolitical power. As huge amounts of Gold are shipped Eastward, with huge tonnage leaving London for points East like China, so goes the important shift in geopolitical power. A Paradigm Shift is in progress, at work. Since March 2012, a whopping 6000 metric tons of gold bullion has been shipped from London to the East, primarily China. The circumstances behind the shipments are murky, but they indicate private off-market transactions that are intended to avoid publicity. My suspicion is that old wealthy Chinese families had their Allocated Gold Accounts improperly used in leasing practices by London bankers, associated with posted margin on a gaggle of leveraged contracts spanning from sovereign debt to currencies. The trades went sour. Margin calls were enforced with lost gold in a grand forfeit, the London bankers feet put to the fire reportedly. Publicity was avoided, but in the process a tremendous amount of gold was forfeited. With the gold went a transfer of power, to the East. 

They will dictate terms of the new trade settlement system. They will become the world’s more prominent lenders. They will control the next geopolitical chapter. One private important location is the Carlyle Group, which holds significant counter-party positions to the vast short positions that Wall Street banks are responsible for. The biggest hidden gold hoards, truly magnificent in size, are located in Basel Switzerland, the Roman Catacombs, under the Kremlin, and by the ancient Chinese families, along with Wilbur & Mack who buried a hoard in their Arkansas backyard ready with buddies Smith & Wesson. The divergence will continue until the official gold supply is demonstrated, with shock and awe, to be near zero.

The calls for full audits, and in some cases, repatriation, of foreign gold reserves being held by the New York Federal Reserve are growing, as now Switzerland, the Netherlands, and Ecuador have joined Germany in those calls and in Ecuador’s case, repatriation, of its gold. Countries no longer trust the Federal Reserve, they have begun to demand that their gold that is stored in the Fed’s vaults in NY be repatriated. Venezuela repatriated 160 tons recently from NY and the Bank of England. Switzerland, and the Netherlands are also demanding their gold back. Germany went to inspect their gold that the Feds hold in NY. The Feds refused to let the Germans see it, citing security issues. The security of the Feds relies on people not wanting their gold back; people suspect the gold has been looted by the Feds and that it is not there anymore. I imagine Germany will now make a formal request for all of its 3000+ tons back. Very sensible.

Brazil’s holdings expanded 17.2 tons last month to 52.5 tons, the most since January 2001, according to data on the International Monetary Fund’s website. The country’s 1.7-ton purchase in September was the first since December 2008. “This is a chunky purchase by a central bank, and the gold market will likely sit up and pay attention,” Edel Tully, an analyst at UBS AG in London, wrote today in a report, referring to Brazil’s addition. Gold accounts for about 0.5 percent of Brazil’s total reserves.

Brzezinski is the architect of the American branch of the New World Order, if he declares that we are winning…then we must be winning.

We had this huge intervention in the world, but the reason for the crisis was excessive credit growth. The private sector reacted very well to the crisis. But the government credit is still growing. They cannot raise the interest rates, because if they do then the interest payments on the debt will be too high. A few people in the elite will get really rich, then the United States will go to war and everything is going to collapse. As an investor, you have to do something, and equities are a much better place to hide compared to bonds. The interest of the US and china are further apart than ever before. You have a declining superpower in the United States, and a rising superpower in China. The United States will want to cling to its position, and China will want to have more and more say in international trade and relations. This dynamic will lead to quite a bit of tension. The United States doesn't produce enough or save enough based on the amount in the world economy compared to what they consume. Consuming means exactly what the word means. When you consume something, it is gone. The standard of living is going down compared to China, where there is a high savings rate.In many states of the US, 20% of the people are illiterate.

Ron Paul: This may well be the last time I speak on the House Floor. At the end of the year I’ll leave Congress after 23 years in office over a 36 year period. My goals in 1976 were the same as they are today: promote peace and prosperity by a strict adherence to the principles of individual liberty. It was my opinion, that the course the U.S. embarked on in the latter part of the 20th Century would bring us a major financial crisis and engulf us in a foreign policy that would overextend us and undermine our national security. To achieve the goals I sought, government would have had to shrink in size and scope, reduce spending, change the monetary system, and reject the unsustainable costs of policing the world and expanding the American Empire. The problems seemed to be overwhelming and impossible to solve, yet from my view point, just following the constraints placed on the federal government by the Constitution would have been a good place to start.

Perhaps most significantly, itsEconomy fell to 20th -- Malaysia and Thailand are 15th and 18th respectively. Equally as troubling isSafety & Security which came in at 27th. Personal Freedom at 14th was on par with Uruguay and Costa Rica; and only 16 places above Botswana. Jesse Ventura was once a US Navy Seal, professional WWF wrestler, actor and then Governor. Subsequently he's decided to create a TV series called Conspiracy Theory with Jesse Ventura. Each episode tackles a different popular conspiracy or wide held belief in society. Though he is going head-to-head against the establishment, his first season went to air seamlessly. His second season experienced some issues. There was a lot of heat particularly on one of the episodes called Police State, which exposed the onset on a militarized war conditions style police and martial law state controlling the people. Needless to say the establishment did not like it (perhaps it was too truthful?). Anyway, both seasons have since been re-aired, all except this episode, they will not play it.
